[Disney Escape]

I want to take my daughter to Disneyland for her 9th birthday!! She gets in free for her big day, so I figured why not! I am going to get the Annual Pass also, so will able to go anytime for 2010, YAY! Her birthday is Jan. 8, so plan on going that week and want to hit the parks over 3 days. I'm a little nervous about going that week after New Year's due to a friends experience at that time, but it's Disneyland and should be fine no matter what. (Like Haunted Mansion will be closed...boo hoo!).

I wanted another adult to go with us and no one can go, SO, I mentioned to my mother-in-law and she wants to go! She will fly out for a couple weeks and then go with us to Disneyland. She hasn't been there since 2004, so she's due for a trip! My mom would love to go, but physically can't, so if anyone else wants to go, let me know!

I'm researching Resort hotel pricing and if that doesn't work out, will most likely stay at Park Vue Inn, being it's the closest to the parks!

If I could swing it I so would travel there with you all. Times like this I hate where I live cause it is so costly.

That would be a blast Nikki if you could have gone, ,I know it's far for you though.

I did tell Ashley about it, just to be sure she wanted to go since she likes the birthday parties with all her friends. We can't do both, so she said she
wanted to do DL instead. We always do something fun for her birthday, with her friends, so the cost of a party will just go into DL instead, heehee!
I want to do a character meal for her, so need to see which one! My MIL has never done one, so it will be a treat for her as well.

Ok, I'm changing the dates to Jan. 30-Feb 3. I figure end of the month most holiday stuff will be cleaned up and there will be less crowds. Plus hotels are a lot cheaper this week. I'm considering Park Vue Inn, however, Desert Inn and Anaheim Plaza (where we just stayed) are less than Park Vue, so I'm still deciding on hotels.

I also realized that going for 3 days in the parks, we would only save $20 with my daughter getting in free for her birthday. I still need a 2 day hopper pass and the 3 day pass for her is only $20 more! So, might as well go later in the month and hope for a more cleaned up park and less crowds.

This trip is now on hold. My mother-in-law might not make it and if she can't, I rather not take Ashley by myself, so will see. I really wish I had someone that could go with me. Ashley is so looking forward to this trip, I'd hate to disappoint her just because I don't want to go alone with her.

Tracy that sucks that the trip might not happen. Is there anyone else friend wise that you could ask to go with you guys??

I would totally jump on this, if I lived closer. Darn sometimes I hate where I live.

It's all good Nikki, that would be so much fun if you were able to go. I only know a couple people in town, so don't have much anyone else to ask. The few I've tried can't go.

My MIL is coming after all, so the trip is back on!! WHOO HOO, I can't wait!!
