Well its offical, after mom and I came back from our great Disneyland trip the hole family is planning on going in 2010. I can't wait. My brothers, and dad mom and I its going to be great.

I can't wait, and we are going to have so much fun.

I already want to start planning, but I think I will hold off for about a year. Plus this time around, we are spending more time in the park. SO I hope to take in more shows and rides. Plus I will be able to get my brothers involved with the planning. See what they want to do. Bouncymickey

I know how exciting it is to plan and it's fun to look a little here and there to see what is going on and what you might want to do. We'll try to keep posting here with upcoming events and what may be going on for 2010! Do you have any idea what time of year you want to go?

Tracy we will be going, end of September beginning of October.

I already know that I want to take in all the parades, and the fireworks. And that in October they do their Halloween thing, so that will be great to see.

More talk has happened on this trip in the past few days.

I was asked to look up prices and things for flights and hotel. ANd with my parents paying for the flights and hotel, they wanted to know. So I looked things up, and came up with around $10,000 for the five of us. I know that this will change as time gets closer. But its a matter of wondering if the price is going to go up or down.

I talked with my older brother, and he wants to do lots. I am thinking he might not realize how much everything is going to cost.

I told mom that I want to do at least 2 more days in the park, and she also wants to. And I want to see the parades and the fireworks. Thats why I am making sure we go over a weekend. Weather we just enter the park for the parades or fieworks, and hit the park during the week, with less crowds. I just really want to see those.

I also want to see Knott's Berry Farm. As does mom.

I think that if all 5 of us pick something to do each day that would be the best thing.

We are all in charge of paying for the activities ourselves. So with that said, I would like to know what people are thinking about wanting to do price wise, so I can save.

Also older brother agreed to wearing matching shirts for at least one day in DL. I just need to talk to my younger brother, and if they agree then my dad will wear one well. As it is, my dad doesn't think that my older brother agreed to it. :lol: I just need to come up with a idea, and a slogan. I was thinking about doing something along the lines of Swiss Family Robinson, cause Robinson is our family last name, but I am not sure yet.

WOW! Is the airfare a big part of the cost??

Sounds like a great trip though and good ideas!! I like the Swiss Family Robinson shirt idea, that's really cool!

Airfare is a big cost when going that far. I just hope that we can get in a great seat sale, when the time gets closer.

Even hotel isn't that bad, $1500 for 7 nights, for 5 adults.

Also we are thinking about all leaving from Calgary, that way we save about 2000-3000 dollars.

Not much to update. I haven't looked for anything in regards to the trip for such a long time.

Awhile I ago I did find better prices for flying and hotel. I am just having a hard time finding a hotel that will hold all 5 of us in one room. THere are a few out there, but I would love to stay with on with a hot tub. So I am thinking as time gets closer I will have to phone the Annabella hotel and talk to someone.

I do also believe that we are going to be booking through the travel agent here in town again. It was so much easier that way.

Like I said before I have plenty of time to plan everything, and I hope that my brothers and parents are serious about doing things together. Which I think that they are, and I think that we are going to have a blast. My younger brother thinks that he will be old to enjoy Disneyland, :lol: at him, he has no idea.
