WDW Trip October 2011

This June, Gene and I will be together 10 years. We wented to take a little trip for our Anniversary but since we both wanted to go to WDW for the Food & Wine Festival this year.. We decided to CELEBRATE our Anniversary in October.

We will be going to WDW from October 20th to the 25th. Staying at the Pop Century with 3 day park pass but no hoppers this year.

We just received a call from Disney Vacation Club so we are thinking of possibly getting a DVC. The person that we spoke to told us that if we decide to do it.. He can upgrade us to one of the DVC resorts for the same price as POP CENTURY.

Whoa, isn't it like $12,000 to join the DVC??

Yeah it is. My parents are going to help us with the down payment of $1200 if we decide to do it. Then we would pay $200 per month.

My parents had a DVC a couple years ago but sold it to a friend of theirs when my brother decided to go to Law School.

1200 to join a membership?? Whoa thats alot of money. I hope that it all works out, and thats great of your parents to help you out.

It does sound like a lot of money but once it's paid off it would be worth it..
